Common questions
What is Got You?
Got You is an iPhone and Android app that gives a care group one place to organize meals, rides and check-ins for someone in a hard season. Everyone sees what is needed and signs up for what fits their week.
Is Got You available yet?
Not yet. Everyone on the waitlist gets one email on the day Got You opens on iPhone and Android.
How much does Got You cost?
Got You is free for a group of up to 15 members with 1 active care plan at a time. Premium costs $9.99 a month and removes both limits.
Who pays for Premium?
One person pays, and every group they admin becomes Premium. Everyone else in those groups gets Premium without paying.
Who is Got You for?
Got You is for anyone organizing help for someone after surgery, a new baby, a diagnosis or a loss. It is built for the friends, family and neighbors who keep asking how they can help.
Does Got You work on the web?
No. Got You is an iPhone and Android app. This website explains it and takes waitlist sign-ups.
Join the waitlist on the home page to hear the day Got You opens.
How do I get off the waitlist?
Email hello@got-you.io and we will remove you. The Privacy Policy's waitlist section covers what joining stored.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, open Settings and choose Delete account. Deletion is scheduled 30 days out, and you can cancel any time in that window from the Reactivate screen. Once the window passes, your profile, your content, your telemetry records and your sign-in account are permanently removed — the Privacy Policy's deletion section has the full detail.
Who can see my profile and Love Profile?
Only members of the groups you share. Your display name, avatar and Love Profile travel with you into a group when you join it — nothing about you is public. The Privacy Policy's groups section shows exactly who sees what.
Someone started a care plan for me — did I agree to that?
Care on Got You has two layers of consent. First, you choose whether you are open to receiving care at all. Second, every care plan for you starts out pending and becomes active only with your approval — you are the only person who can approve it. Auto-approve is on by default so help is never stuck waiting on a tap, and you can turn it off in the app any time. The Privacy Policy's care section walks through the whole flow.
Is Got You a medical or emergency service?
No. In an emergency, call your local emergency number — 911 in the United States. Got You only coordinates practical help among people who know each other; the Terms of Service spell this out.
How do I report a problem or a person?
Email hello@got-you.io with the group's name and what happened. Reports go to a person, and we follow up.
Still stuck? Email hello@got-you.io. The Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service hold the fine print.
